MFA candidate Brittany Turski's poem "If She Had Lived" is featured in Pyrta's Fall Issue #2. As a long form fiction writer, Turski is thrilled about her first poetry publication. Roosevelt is proud of her publications in all genres; ahh, the benefits of taking class outside of your concentration strike again!
Pyrta aims to be a vibrant, multicultural space. Turski, who's main inspirations in life are "dance, uncontrolled laughter, and nature" fits right in. Check it out!
