Sideshow Theatre Company, on behalf of Janet Burroway (visiting writer from 2009), has extended a group ticket discount to our program for their upcoming production of Janet Burroway’s Medea With Child.
This is the Chicago premiere of Pulitzer Prize nominee Janet Burroway's Medea With Child. Unleashing Euripides' tragedy on a modern, magical, lyrically soaring stage of physical and verbal athletics, this wildly witty retelling blasts down to the core of the Greek classic Medea. When her husband strays from their marriage, Medea's fury unleashes a storm of epic proportions on both family and country. Can the characters escape the fate that awaits them? And what will be left if they can?
Medea With Child runs from March 18 – April 25, 2010 (Thurs – Sat at 8pm, Sun at 3pm). The production will take place at LaCosta Theatre, 3931 N. Elston Ave. 2ndfloor. General admission is $15. For a group of over 10, we will happily take $5 off per ticket – only $10 ticket for the run of the show! If you're bringing a student group, Sideshow will offer an even larger discount of $10 off tickets during the regular run, making it a $5 ticket!
