Alan Wier will be reading from and taking questions about his work this Monday, October 19th from 5 to 6pm at Roosevelt University's Gage Gallery.
Alan is a fiction writer whose publications consist of several novels, including Tehano, and numerous short stories. Wier is on faculty in the Department of English at the University of Tennessee, where in 2005, the graduate students voted him as the department’s “most outstanding professor in the classroom.” He is also the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
