If you've ever taken a writing class, you've probably read Janet Burroway's Writing Fiction. It's become a veritable Bible for writers old and new on the minutiae of craft. But Janet's also a well-established novelist.
On Monday, February 15th, Janet stopped by Roosevelt University to read from her upcoming novel, Bridge of Sand, about a Pennsylvanian woman driven to revisit her Georgian roots after her husband's funeral coincides with September 11th, 2001. The excerpts we heard were nothing short of haunting.
Thanks, Janet!
